About Me
My previous work as a features writer brought me into contact with people from many different walks of life. This eventually led me into the world of psychotherapy. I have worked with adults and young adults, in both long and short term therapy, in a variety of sectors including private, employee assistance programme (EAP), charity as well as the NHS and the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
As a psychotherapeutic counsellor I believe in developing a relationship that will support and help you gain a greater understanding of yourself, your feelings and the issues you may be facing.
I specialise in personal growth, life transitions and relationship issues.
I am especially interested in working with clients experiencing existential issues. Feeling a loss of identity and direction.
I approach each client as a unique person, free from any labels or prejudgement.
I believe the most important part of any therapeutic work is developing a strong relationship based on mutual trust and collaboration.
From that we can begin together to explore your world, your feelings in the present, with an awareness of how the past may also be playing a role.
This will always be done at your own pace.
